Relationship between Mother-In-Law & Daughter-in – Law: - A discussion session on the above topic was organized on 24th July 2010. The program was mainly organized to discuss the sensitive topic of this relationship. It was huge success among the participant ladies as well as all shared their personal experience & opinion and arrived on a consensus for maintaining a healthy relation.

Cooking Demo 7th August 2010 - We organized a Cooking Demonstration on specialty of dishes for fasting. It was organized on the onset of the Hindu month of Shravan & was liked by one & all for its variety & national value.

Garaba Celebration: - As cultural activity Garaba was organized on 23rd October 2010. All members enjoyed this very much. Prizes are given for best Garaba & Garaba Song

Diwali Celebration with Vimala Dermatological Centre: - On 2nd November 2010 we distributed sweets & snacks to the destitute children & leprosy patients looked after by Vimala Dermatological Centre. Two hundred boxes of sweets & Snacks were donated. Diwali Celebration becomes more meaningful when we celebrated it with the deprived sections of the society. Festival of light gives us an opportunity to brighten the lives of people by spreading the massage of togetherness.

Cancer Awarness Camp with slide show was organized on 20th November 2010 with support of Tata Memorial Centre. The Knowledge Shared by Dr, Shrikant of Tata Memorial Centre was extremely informative & of great concern to the audience which led to an awareness about women related issues.

Diwali Sneh Samellan was held on 20th November 2010. The Annual P & L A/C was disclosed & snacks were distributed to all members. Student who scored academic distinction in SSC exams were awarded as a token of encouragement.

15th December 2010:- Picnic - AIWC Jogeshwari Branch had organized a ‘Nature Trip’ to Vipasana Centre (Pagoda) and Keshav Srushti where ladies from the age group of 35 years to 60 years took opportunity of this picnic. A lot of information about meditation was gained at the Pagoda. Ladies took the bliss of beautiful idols of Lord Hanuman and Lord Shankar. A visit to the ayurvedic plants nursery at Keshav Srushti helped gain vital information about ayurvedic plants and medicines. In true lady spirit, the entire picnic group also shopped for ayurvedic medicines, shampoos, soaps, vegetables etc.

25th December 2010:- Rescue Home Visit-We received information about marriage of six rescue home girls By Smt. S. Babrasara. She also told that we can help them by giving used sarees in good condition. We collected 38 sarees, 8 dresses & 6 new purses containing makeup kit from members-non members. On 25th December we personally visited The Rescue Home at Kandivali & hand over them all these things.

29th January 2011:- Zonal Programme-AIWC Jogeshwari Branch organized a Social Awareness Program on zonal basis on the subject of ‘Consumer Protection Act’. The honorary speaker of this session was Shri. Prasad Aayre, state level member of Shivsena Consumer Protection wing. Shri Prakash Bhosle & Shri Ajit Bhosle from Jogeshwari & Borivali branch respectively, Smt Shalini Desai AIWC Zonal secretary was also present. Shri Prasad Aayre in his session shared important information regarding Rights of Consumer. The Knowledge shared by Shri. Aayre was extremely informative & helpful to the audience.85 ladies participated in this program.

15th February 2011- Hearing Aid Donation-We, at AIWC in line with our work for physically impaired children, donated Rs, 25,900/- for hearing aid purchase two hearing impaired students Master Nitin Bhandare (Age 7 yrs), Master Sanjay Bhosle (Age 9 yrs)  from Rochiram T. Thadhani High school for Hearing Handicapped , Chembur. With this donation AIWC Jogeshwari Branch has donated 67 hearing aids to such children, thus helping them to lead a better living.

18th February 2011:- Medical Awareness Program with slide show- AIWC Jog. Branch organized a Medical Awareness Program on the subject, Diabetic & Nutritional Food for Diabetic Patient & Senior Citizens & Low Calorie Cooking Competition. The honorary speaker was Dr. Niranjana Shah & Dietitian Nazneen Husain
The awareness talk by Dr. Niranjana & Dietitian Nazneen was very informative & covered a lot of areas of general health, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease & nutrition. Useful tips on general cooking habits, control of blood sugar levels, exercise, inclusion of yoga in daily life style, hygiene food habits etc. were given.
Low calorie cooking competition conducted by us saw a participation of 30 members & was a great success with healthy recipes  like Apple Puranpoli, Soya Gulpapadi, Savory Hariyalli Roll winning. All Food stuffs were prepared keeping health guidelines in mind & using sugar free powder. Winners were given their awards. All it was a highly informative & enlightening program.
